“52 Books to read in 2024.”

This got me worked up. Then what, after reading those books? I realised how idle I have been for the past couple of years. Yes, I have been reading but why was I reading?

This page is the platform I have chosen to share my thoughts.

Initially, I thought I could be sharing my thoughts on how to combat crime. But with the passage of time – I realised this is the platform where I can share any of my thoughts. Random thoughts. Significant thoughts. Foolish thoughts. Any of my thoughts- written down!

Looking around me. The culture of reading is dying. Yes, there are ebooks. Yes, there are audio books. But, Sapiens, no longer have that love for books. The love for turning pages. The reading culture is dying.

With that dearth of a reading culture, it follows that, the writing culture is also dying a natural death.

I looked myself into the mirror and realised something. I am a culprit. Why mustn’t I write and share my thoughts with fellow Sapiens. I have been consistently reading but somehow – the writer’s block set in. It set in for far much too long.

Today, I decided that, it’s the resurrection.

The resurrection of writing down my thoughts. Those thoughts. Random thoughts. Organised thoughts. Scattered thoughts. Those thoughts, I will be sharing them with you, my fellow Sapiens.

Today, the thought of writing kicked in. I thought, I can share with you that I thought we must be writing. Write about anything. Write about your everyday experiences. Good experiences. Bad experiences. Experiences shape our lives.

The thought of writing down my thoughts inspired me to write this article. This article will inspire me to write more and more of my thoughts. The thoughts I am yet to think of. This year I will be writing.
